Our Story
Battered Shack along with Burger shack, Chang's Wok & Andy chang Private Chef is the brain child of Chang, our resident chef. Chang creates, develops and delivers the tastiest street food Cardiff has to offer, Laura is chief taster and general manager (which is easier said than done when it comes to managing chefs....) Born and bred in Cardiff, Chang has worked as a head chef and private chef for over 26 years. Having seen a gap in the street food market & Private chef at home in the South wales area, we were inspired to set up our own company. From Nan's secret batter recipe, Classic Family Chinese wok dishes, delicious bespoke menus and of course the famous Battered Mac n Cheese shack stack
festivals, and corporate events are our speciality

What a treat to have this gorgeous food delivered hot tonight! We tried one of everything on the menu: mac and cheese sandwich, chicken burger and fish and chips. All very nice, generous portions, fab chips and curry sauce.
